Deep links on your own branded domain
Replace chottu.link with
go.yourbrand.com. Higher click-through, higher trust, higher deliverability, with auto-SSL and
zero DevOps.
Generic shortlink domains are a trust tax
Shared short-link domains pay a steep cost: lower click-through in email and SMS because people do not recognize the sender, higher spam-filter rates, and damaged sender reputation when someone else abuses the shared domain. Studies on email and SMS click-through rates consistently find a lift when links use a recognizable domain. The range varies by channel and audience, but branded links in email outperform shared-domain links in both open rate and spam filter treatment.
ChottuLink's custom domain feature gives every workspace one branded subdomain. The setup is a single CNAME record on your DNS provider. SSL is auto-provisioned and auto-renewed forever. You do not touch a cert, you do not touch a load balancer, you do not get paged at 3am when the certificate expires.
Four-minute setup
- 1. In ChottuLink Dashboard →
Settings → Domains, click "Add domain" and enter your branded subdomain (for example
go.yourbrand.com). - 2. Copy the CNAME target and add it to your DNS provider.
- 3. ChottuLink detects the CNAME, verifies ownership, and auto-provisions an SSL certificate.
- 4. Start creating deep links
on the branded domain. Existing links stay on
chottu.linkunless you migrate them.
Use cases
- Email & SMS campaigns: Branded links earn higher CTR and pass spam filters more reliably.
- Printed QR codes: Branded domains on physical media build trust at the point of scan.
- Referral programs:
refer.yourbrand.com/alexis more shareable than a generic short URL. - Enterprise white-labeling: Multiple branded subdomains per workspace for multi-brand portfolios.
